SW8 #2000’S STUNNING NEW LOOK UNVEILED!

Revitalizing History: Former Army SW8 #2000’s New Paint Job

There’s a fresh coat of history on the tracks! The former Army SW8 #2000 locomotive has undergone a remarkable transformation, receiving a stunning new paint job as it prepares to serve at the facility of our latest customer. This locomotive, seasoned by years of diligent service as a switcher at another customer’s plant, is now ready to take on a new chapter.

The design team at Nokian Tyres, renowned for their innovative approach and creative flair, took the lead in conceptualizing the new livery. The result? A paint job that’s as functional as it is aesthetically pleasing, perfectly encapsulating the spirit of both companies’ legacies. It’s not just a new look; it’s a symbol of enduring strength and continuous innovation.

As the locomotive settles into its role at the new plant, switching operations will carry the added flair of historical significance and modern design. It stands as a proud representation of our commitment to preserving history while advancing towards future milestones in the rail industry.
