Cherish the Magic of Christmas on the Rails with Tennessee Valley Railroad

The air is crisper, the sweaters are out, and the festive season is upon us, with the Tennessee Valley Railroad (TVRM) announcing the commencement of their beloved 2019 Christmas Season! This weekend heralds the return of two enchanting holiday experiences: the Annual Holiday Christmas Dinner Trains and the North Pole Limited.

The Christmas Dinner Train offers a unique experience, where you can indulge in a festive meal while rolling through the serene Tennessee landscape. Departing from Grand Junction Depot at 7:00 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, it’s an excursion that promises a blend of gourmet cuisine and yuletide cheer. With tickets in high demand, secure your seat now at TVRM’s Christmas Dinner Train.

For the younger and the young at heart, the North Pole Limited is the stuff of Christmas dreams. These special trains embark on a journey through a magical tunnel leading straight to Santa’s homeland and depart Grand Junction Station at 3:30, 5:30, and 7:30 PM on Saturday. This adventure is designed to create memories that will shimmer in your family’s holiday stories for years to come.

Accompanying our announcement is a snapshot that captures the essence of these train rides. Pictured is a heartwarming scene of a child, dressed in festive gingham, entranced by the jolly figure of Santa Claus himself. The warmth of their exchange, set against the backdrop of a holiday-themed train ride, is a perfect illustration of the memories waiting to be made aboard TVRM’s special holiday trains.

The charm of TVRM’s Christmas trains is more than just the destinations — it’s the spirit of Christmas coming to life in every smile, every twinkling light, and every “Ho, ho, ho” echoing through the carriages.

This season, be sure to plan a visit to TVRM for a holiday outing that combines the nostalgia of vintage rail travel with the enchantment of Christmas.
