Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum remains closed through April 30. In keeping with the Social Distance Guidelines suggested Sunday, March 29 we are extending our suspension of all public rides with a hoped for reopen date of May 4th. Dinner, North Georgia and Hiwassee trains however, will remain closed with no specific reopening date at this time. Plans now are to begin operating the Missionary Ridge Local on May 4th & 5th. We will be offering to transfer ticket holders, through April 30, to future train rides or a refund. Updates to our schedule of rides will be posted on our website at tvrail.com and on social media channels.

Trip Details:

This trip includes a four-course meal in a vintage dining car or Pullman car. The excursion trains typically depart from our Chattanooga Grand Junction Station (4119 Cromwell Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421) at 5:30 p.m. and again at 8:15 p.m., traveling at a leisurely pace through portions of urban Chattanooga, passing Warner Park Zoo and Chattanooga National Cemetery. The train travels about seven miles from the depot and then returns along the same route, taking about two hours overall.

***NEW THIS YEAR: Offering an upgrade with one bottle of wine per reservation for Valentine's Dinner Trains on Feb. 14th ONLY. Cost: $32.00/bottle with your choice of the below:

Red: 19 Crimes Cabernet Sauvignon

As an alternative, Monthly Dinner Train information is found here.

TVRM is pleased to offer this unique opportunity for patrons to enjoy not only a rail excursion trip but also fine dining en route while the train travels along the rails. Passengers are encouraged to choose their entrée as tickets are ordered. Patrons may select their entrée of carved English roast of beef topped with a Madeira sauce, roasted stuffed breast of chicken with a wild mushroom cream sauce or Cumberland sauce, or crusted filet of salmon with a Roasted Sweet Red Bell Pepper Sauce. (Menu items mentioned are examples, but there will be beef, chicken, fish, and vegetarian main entrées. Presentation is subject to adjustment by our chef.)

In addition, patrons may choose from true vintage dining in the Dining Car (four to a table) at $190 per couple, or limited accommodations are available in a 1920's-era Pullman Car with tables for two at $240 per couple.

Ticket Information:

Tickets for the excursion and dinner start at $190 per couple in the Diner (4-top tables) and $240 in the Pullman (2-top tables). Tickets are expected to sell out in advance. Reservations are recommended and should be purchased in advance to avoid disappointment.

Please note that smoking, alcoholic beverages, and pets are NOT allowed on any train. Thanks for your cooperation.
