Scheduled for the evenings of May 12th at 6:30 pm, this event promises an exquisite five-course meal served in the atmospheric setting of the Grand Junction Depot’s upstairs dining room. Following dinner, guests are treated to a relaxing ride aboard the Missionary Ridge Local, making for a perfect evening of good food and leisurely travel. Each table is priced differently depending on the number of guests, ensuring a tailored experience for groups of all sizes.

Homefront Tea Room

If you’re looking for a daytime activity, the Homefront Tea Room offers an elegant high tea experience. Available on weekends throughout May, this event includes a full high tea at 11:00 am followed by a delightful journey on the Missionary Ridge Local at 12:30 pm. For $55 per person, enjoy a selection of fine teas and an assortment of both savory snacks and sweet treats, including freshly baked scones.

Sweet Treats on the Missionary Ridge Local

For families with a sweet tooth, the “Mother’s Day Special Missionary Ridge Local” departs at 8:00 pm on May 12th. At $36 per person, this unique experience blends the charm of a historic train journey with the joy of gourmet sweets, perfect for families looking to celebrate this special day in an unconventional yet memorable way.
