EMBARK ON A VINTAGE ADVENTURE: JULY’S CLASSIC TRAIN RIDE WITH THE HISTORIC 4501 STEAM ENGINE AT TENNESSEE VALLEY RAILROAD MUSEUM

No better way to round out July than with a classic Chattanooga train ride! The Missionary Ridge Local will feature 112-year old steam star number 4501. This engine has lived a storied life and is living the best life here at TVRM – bringing an authentic train ride to life for each and every visitor. Seating on board is in a vintage coach – we have both open window and air conditioned options for a comfortable ride. Add some more adventure and upgrade your ticket to a cab ride! Steam locomotive: $55 for one-way ride and $80 round trip ride. Age: 12-14 accompanied with an adult, 15 and up unaccompanied. **All cab riders are required to wear long pants and close-toed shoes. Protective eyewear and earplugs will be available at check-in.  All cab ride tickets are first come first served. For stunning views of the gorgeous lower Hiwassee River Gorge be sure to check out our departures form Delano, TN. Two options: half day Loop Trip and day-long Copperhill Special.  Its a great weekend to ride a train!

Missionary Ridge Local Train Ride
