REVITALIZING RAIL HISTORY: TVRM’S TRANSFORMATION OF DINING CAR #899 BOLSTERED BY JOHN EMERY RAIL HERITAGE TRUST GRANT
TVRM is honored to receive a John Emery Rail Heritage Trust grant of $20,000. We received $10,000 of this amount in mid 2022.
This grant is helping with many updates to dining car #899 the Silver Lake. Updates include: conversion of lounge area to additional kitchen space, installation of two gas stoves, dishwasher, three compartment sink and electrical upgrades to allow for standby operation.
