North Pole Limited almost sold out

Online sales over
For the most part, all North Pole Limited trips have been sold out. Online sales are over for all trips that are offer online. A few seats are left on certain dates and can be inquired about by phone. Additionally, tickets are still available for the Holiday Dinner Train (info), and can be purchased by calling 894-8028.

--Holiday Dinner Train Ride to Chickamauga--
Travel back to a simpler time aboard a vintage train for the Holiday Dinner
Train Ride. The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum offers this unique opportunity for patrons to enjoy a rail excursion and fine dining along the way. The Christmas Special includes a four-course dining experience aboard TVRM’s restored 1924 dining car.
Patrons may select from three dates for the four-hour trips on Dec. 1, Dec. 8, or Dec. 15. Departure time is 5:30pm from Grand Junction Station and there will be two seatings per evening, one on the trip to Chickamauga, Georgia, and the otherduring the return journey. Price is $70 per person for standard seating. For those looking to have a private party, the Eden Isle Office Car #98 can accommodate up to eight people. The Office Car boasts a dining room, lounge area and rear observation platform. Cost is $800 per group (including dinner) for the Office Car charter.
Reservations are encouraged as these trips fill quickly. While purchasing tickets, patrons may select their main entree of Roast Beef, Roasted Half Chicken or Baked Salmon (all entrees will be served with the chefs choice of glaze or sauce.) Additional menu items include Soup, Salad of Fresh Greens, Seasonal Fresh Vegetables, Potato de Jour, Fresh Bread, choice of Dessert, plus Lemonade, Water, Iced Tea or Coffee.
The train will travel from Grand Junction Station in Chattanooga to Chickamauga, Georgia. There will be a brief layover in Chickamauga allowing passengers to stroll the town to enjoy Christmas decorations. Return to Chattanooga will be approximately 9:45pm.
The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum was founded in 1961 by a small group oflocal residents with a mission on to preserve, restore and operate historic railwayequipment. TVRM is a non-profit, educational organization and all ticket sales are for fund raising purposes to keep passenger trains running in Chattanooga. --Halloween Eerie Express trips now on the schedule!--
Sit back, relax and ride the rails into the night on the "Halloween Eerie Express." The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum has partnered with Rock City Gardens to provide an eerily Halloween experience. You'll hear spooky legends of ghosts wandering the Chickamauga Battlefield in search of their souls while you ride along into the night, straight into Rock City Gardens' Enchanted MAiZE Maze and Forest of Fear.

Since 1999, the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum has been carrying all the good boys and girls of Chattanooga and surrounding areas to the North Pole for a visit with Santa Claus. -- Day Out with Thomas™ On-line Tickets Sold Out,
Limited Walk-up Tickets Still Available --
All on-line tickets for Day Out With Thomas™ have sold out. Approximately 300 tickets are available each day for walk up sales on a first-come, first-served basis beginning around 8am each day of the event. There will be approximately 60 tickets per train for the first five trains of each day (9am - 1:30pm.)

Tickets for select trips can now be bought on-line! Trips for the Chickamauga Turn are on sale now. Tickets for the North Pole Limited will be available for on-line purchase in June. Two Hiwassee River Rails Adventures trips, The Loop and the Copperhill Special can also be purchased on-line.
Coming soon, Missionary Ridge Local tickets will be offered in a voucher-style format. Unlike the other trips where you buy tickets for a specific day and departure, a Missionary Ridge Local ticket bought on-line is good for any trip of any day during the operating season. More information will become available when the Missionary Ridge Local tickets become available.

Two more Valentine Dinner Trains have been added to our schedule following the selling out of the two scheduled trains. The new trains will run on Sunday, February 11th and Wednesday, February 14th.
