Travel back to a simpler time aboard a vintage train for the Holiday Dinner Train Ride. The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum offers this unique opportunity for patrons to enjoy a rail excursion and a four-course dining experience aboard TVRM’s restored 1924 dining car.
Reservations are encouraged as these trips fill quickly. While purchasing tickets, patrons may select their main entree of:
- Roast Beef
- Roasted Stuffed Chicken
- Baked Salmon
(All entrees will be served with the chefs choice of glaze or sauce.)
Additional menu items include (example) Soup, Salad of Fresh Greens, Seasonal Fresh Vegetables, Potato de Jour, Fresh Bread, choice of Dessert, plus Lemonade, Water, Iced Tea or Coffee.
The train will travel from Grand Junction Station [info] in Chattanooga to Chickamauga, Georgia. There will be a brief layover in Chickamauga allowing passengers to stroll the town to enjoy Christmas decorations. Return to Chattanooga will be approximately 10:00pm. The first dinner seating will be approx. 6pm while enroute to Chickamaga, and the second approx. 8pm as the train travels back toward Chattanooga.
