Membership Levels

Royal Palm ($10,000) - Named in honor of the Southern Railway's premier passenger train operating in the Cincinnati-Chattanooga-Jacksonville corridor. It offered "the ultimate in travel comfort and luxury to and from Florida."

Silver Comet ($5,000) - Named in honor of the Seaboard Air Line Railway's successful -- and luxurious -- streamlined passenger train that served the Richmond, VA to Birmingham, AL market. Although it never provided service to Chattanooga, the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum currently operates one of the train's round-end, bar-lounge observation cars (#6604) in its North Georgia service.

The Crescent ($2,500) - Named in honor of the Southern Railway's flagship passenger train which provided service between Washington, D.C. and New Orleans.

The Tennessean ($1,000) - Named in honor of the passenger train that Southern Railway advertised as a "glorious experience." This train provided both luxury and economy as it operated between Washington, D.C. and Memphis.

Ponce de Leon ($500) - Named in honor of the Southern Railway's passenger service that operated with fewer frills and a reverse schedule of the Royal Palm.

The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum is a living history experience where you can explore a vintage passenger car, eat in a 1920s-era dining car, or ride in the cab of a 100-year old steam locomotive! Your corporate membership enables the museum to provide these rare glimpses into another time, but it also helps us to continue the important historic preservation efforts that are key to the organization's mission. In turn, your membership provides you the opportunity to give back to the community and to offer your employees wonderful benefits that they can share with their families.

If you would like to explore a corporate membership with the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum, please contact our Director of Development, Brent Lambert, at 423-894-8028, ext. 1018.
